Doctor's Strike

What have we allowed ourselves to become? (ZOMBIES : NO EMOTIONS WHATSOEVER) I get it that doctors have issues, but the way this thing has been handled………had me wondering that we as a nation have touched bottom line ethically and humanely.

41 children died due to their strike in one day and what……no reaction from anywhere (political parties, NGOs, Public). How is this tolerable? No matter what the injustice been done to doctors, this act of MURDER is not acceptable/ tolerable.

The Ring of Solomon by Jonathan Stroud

a must read, very witty and engaging read. The concept of power and its effects and the inherent limitation of a human i.e. even if the power is used for a good one can do only to a certain extent because then its starts to wear the person down.

confessions of an economic hit man

Excellent read, a thought provoking, scary, intelligent and fascinating study of how a country can impact and impose its policies on less fortunate countries and bring them at the verge of disaster.

But i do see two problems with the book

1-some events and their impacts described in the book required more detailed exploration, they were somewhat hurriedly concluded.

2-he continued to make the same decisions for 25 or 30 years, which are no justifiable and i felt that the author throughout the book tried to justify his actions somehow to show that he was also the puppet and less of self justifications and more of source material would have been excellent.

Bartimaeus Trilogy by Jonathan Stroud

Extraordinary books. I have not read any fantasy more close to reality than this one. How power and status corrupts and makes one blind to humanity and the right path. A must read......
